how was the whole event

Filing of petition for survey on behalf of Hindu side:-
According to their belief, the Hindu side, putting forward the available evidence, says that Gyanvapi is not a mosque but a temple, because its evidence is self-declared by the pictures of conch shells on its walls.
That's why, taking cognizance of this whole matter, permission was sought from the Allahabad court on behalf of the Hindu side for its survey.

Court summons ASI

The court asked the ASI to give complete information in this matter to the court and along with this the court said that you should assure us that no construction will be harmed there.

After this, the ASI put the information of this whole matter in front of the court and also told how they would do this survey.

Agreeing with this, the court approved the survey and also directed them to complete the survey within the stipulated time.
The displeasure of the Muslim side regarding the survey could be clearly seen, after which they argued that there was no temple of any kind here, rather it used to be a mosque from the beginning.
But even after listening to the Muslim side, the court kept the survey order intact, after which the mosque committee said to contest the matter in the Supreme Court.

During the hearing of the case, the Supreme Court, after listening to both the Hindu side and the Muslim side, said that you should go to the High Court regarding this matter, along with this, the Supreme Court has prohibited any kind of survey on the survey till 5 pm on the 26th. Stopped the survey.

Hearing in Allahabad High Court

The High Court talked to both the parties regarding the survey and asked whether any such survey has been done before, to which it was replied that such a survey has been done for the Ram temple, in which there was no loss of any kind.

On the matter, the Muslim side says that the mosque can be damaged by getting the survey done, so the survey should not be allowed.
The decision on the matter has been reserved till August 3, the way for the survey of Gyanvapi will be cleared only after the hearing on August 3.
